Vintage Scandinavian Wooden Tomte Christmas Diorama

This handcrafted tabletop diorama features two traditional Scandinavian Tomte or Nisse figures engaged in wood-chopping activities. The figures are constructed with rounded wooden heads, hand-painted facial features including bright red bulbous noses, and long, wispy white wool or synthetic fiber beards. Each figure is dressed in a vibrant green knit sweater and a tall, pointed red knit stocking cap topped with a small pom-pom.
