Orrefors 'Raspberry' Crystal Votive Holders

A pair of heavy, clear fine crystal votive candle holders, identifiable as the 'Raspberry' pattern designed by Anne Nilsson for the Swedish glassmaker Orrefors. These high-quality lead crystal pieces feature a distinctive globular and bubbled surface texture intended to mimic the appearance of a berry. The construction is thick-walled with a high refractive index, allowing for significant light play and brilliance when a candle is lit inside. Each vessel measures approximately 2.75 inches in height and 4 inches in diameter. The rim is irregular and undulating, following the organic berry motif. In terms of condition, the crystal appears clear with no visible 'clouding' or sickness. There are no significant chips or cracks apparent in the photograph, though minor surface scratches on the bottom (shelf wear) are typical for this age and material. These pieces were likely manufactured in the late 20th century, as the Raspberry collection was introduced in the 1990s.
