Old Town Royalex Canoe

This is a vintage green canoe, likely an Old Town model, constructed from Royalex composite material. The vessel is approximately 16 to 17 feet in length and features a classic double-ended hull design with a recognizable rocker profile. The exterior is finished in a weathered forest green color, while the interior reveals a sand-colored or tan hull lining. It is equipped with traditional wood-frame webbed seats that show significant weathering and wood rot, as well as a wooden center thwart and yoke. The gunwales appear to be black synthetic vinyl. Regarding condition, the canoe shows heavy signs of outdoor storage and use; there is visible delamination or wear along the gunwales, and the wooden seating components appear structurally compromised. The hull surface has numerous scratches, scuffs, and fading consistent with age and exposure to UV rays. No specific serial numbers are legible from the image, but the hull shape and material composition are characteristic of late 20th-century American recreational canoes. The craft is currently being transported in the bed of a silver Ford F-150 with a matching camper shell, secured with yellow and orange ratchet straps.
