Super Bowl XLIX Official Game Coin Limited Edition

This is an officially licensed NFL Super Bowl XLIX (Super Bowl 49) commemorative coin set by The Highland Mint. The coin is presented in a black velour display case and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) numbered 01703. According to the COA, this is a limited edition release with only 10,000 minted. The coin is struck in fine silver plate with 24kt gold plated highlights. The obverse of the gold-toned coin features the official logos of the two competing teams: the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, flanking a central text block. The border of the coin includes the 'National Football League' text and 'Limited Edition' at the bottom. The condition appears to be excellent/near-mint as the coin is housed in a protective clear acrylic capsule, preserving its luster. The certificate is crisp and features the signature of the Highland Mint President and the official Super Bowl XLIX logo which depicts the Vince Lombardi Trophy against a colorful stylized Arizona landscape background. This item was produced in 2015 to commemorate the championship game held in Glendale, Arizona.
