This is a fine-quality reproduction of a Queen Anne style lowboy or dressing table, identified as being manufactured by Statton Furniture. The piece is constructed from solid cherry wood with a characteristic dark reddish-brown finish. It features a rectangular top with a molded edge over a configuration of one wide drawer and three smaller side-by-side lower drawers. The central lower drawer is distinguished by a classic sunburst or fan carving, a hallmark of the Queen Anne period. The hardware consists of ornate, polished brass bat-wing style bails and escutcheons that appear original to the piece. Below the drawers, the apron is scalloped with decorative turned finials descending from the center sections. The entire unit is supported by elegant, cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Physically, the piece appears to be in good vintage condition, exhibiting high-quality craftsmanship through its tight joinery and symmetrical proportions.
