This is a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye (Flash Model) camera, produced by the Eastman Kodak Company between 1950 and 1961. The camera features an iconic box-shaped design with a body constructed from black molded Bakelite, characterized by vertical ribbing on the sides. The front is adorned with a gray metal faceplate that houses the Meniscus lens and a large, waist-level brilliant viewfinder window located above the lens. Below the lens is a decorative nameplate displaying 'BROWNIE HAWKEYE CAMERA' with the small red Kodak logo. On top, there is a flexible black plastic carrying handle and the viewfinder window. The side features a large, metal winding knob for 620 roll film. This specific 'Flash Model' is distinguished by the two-pin flash connection on the side, allowing it to sync with a Kodalite Flasholder.
