This collection consists of several United States Jefferson Nickels housed within a clear plastic numismatic storage page. The primary coin in focus appears to be a 2005 Jefferson Nickel featuring the 'Westward Journey' profile of Thomas Jefferson on the obverse. This specific design was a one-year-only release where Jefferson's portrait is oriented to face forward/right, differing from the traditional left-facing profile used since 1938. The coins are struck in a cupro-nickel alloy (75% copper, 25% nickel) with a diameter of 21.21 mm and a smooth edge. The coins exhibit varying degrees of circulation wear and surface oxidation; the central coin shows significant dark gray toning and environmental tarnish, while others in the folder show more typical metallic luster.
