Mixed Media Abstract Collage in Double-Glazed Tabletop Frame

This is an untitled original mixed media artwork, likely dating from the late 20th century to the early 21st century. The piece features a central collage element composed of torn paper with feathered edges, layered with various geometric and abstract shapes. Notably, a small square sits in the upper center containing a vibrant red circular form resembling a sun or seal. Below this, a pinkish-tan crescent or semi-circle is intersected by four thick, vertical or slightly angled red bands that suggest structural elements or rays. The composition is set within a specialized double-glazed display, where the artwork appears to float between two panes of glass, allowing the background to remain visible through the torn edges of the paper.
