This is a fine example of Bohemian glassware, commonly referred to as 'Ruby Flash' or 'Cranberry' cut-to-clear crystal. The goblet features a large, deep red bowl meticulously wheel-cut through the ruby layer to reveal the brilliant clear crystal beneath. The decorative motif is traditional Bohemian pastoral and architectural imagery, featuring a detailed woodland scene with a castle or hunting lodge building, surrounded by intricate scrollwork, lens circular cuts near the rim, and frosted floral medallions. The stem is faceted with an elegant hexagonal or multi-paneled knop, leading down to a clear, circular stepped base. The craftsmanship reflects mid-to-late 20th-century production styles traditional to the Czech Republic/Bavaria region (such as Egermann). Physically, the goblet appears to be in excellent vintage condition with high transparency and no visible chips or significant abrasions in the flash layer.
