This is a vintage 2 Gourdes banknote issued by the Banque Nationale de la République d'Haïti. The note features a predominantly blue and slate-grey intaglio print over a multi-colored background with orange and yellow hues. The central design depicts a large circular vignette showing a landscape or harbor scene, flanked by two smaller medallions containing the numeral '2'. The text 'BANQUE NATIONALE de la REPUBLIQUE D'HAÏTI' is printed vertically along the right side. This specific note carries the red serial number AC015715, which is repeated twice. It includes printed facsimile signatures and legal text in French along the left border. The bottom left corner identifies the printer as 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY', a hallmark of high-quality security engraving from the early-to-mid 20th century.
