This is a United States Walking Liberty Half Dollar coin, dated 1941 and minted at the San Francisco mint (indicated by the 'S' annotation on the holder). The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper, with a standard diameter of 30.6 mm. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic design of Lady Liberty walking toward the sun, draped in the American flag, with the motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' and the date '1941' at the bottom.
