Pair of Baldwin Brass Candlestick Table Lamps

This is a pair of vintage colonial-style electric table lamps, designed to mimic traditional brass candlesticks. The lamps feature a classic baluster-form stem with a flared octagonal base, a hallmark of 18th-century English and early American metalwork. Constructed from heavy, high-quality polished solid brass, each lamp stands approximately 10 to 12 inches tall to the top of the socket. The metalwork displays a warm gold tone with a lustrous finish characteristic of Baldwin Brass products. Notable features include a decorative drip pan beneath the faux-candle sleeve, which is a creamy off-white color and shows minor age-related yellowing. The sockets are standard brass-tone screw-in types with simple black turn-knob switches. Condition-wise, the brass shows light surface scratches, some minor tarnish (patina) typical of age, and a few small spots of oxidation near the base. The electrical cords are brown plastic-coated wires, appearing to be in good vintage condition but would require testing for safety.
