This is a vintage mid-century piano accordion manufactured by Cellini, a brand historically associated with quality Italian craftsmanship during the accordion's golden era. The instrument features a striking two-tone aesthetic with ivory-colored celluloid panels contrasted against black trim and a dark pleated bellows section. The treble side consists of a standard piano-style keyboard with white and black keys, showing mild yellowing consistent with age. Centrally positioned are three white register switches (treble couplers) which allow the player to change the reed settings and tonal quality. The front grille is ornate, featuring a metallic mesh behind a decorative sunburst-style cutout, proudly displaying the 'Cellini' cursive logo and a small decorative crest. On the opposite side, a full bank of black bass buttons is visible, typical of a professional or intermediate-level instrument.
