American Girl Limited Edition Winter Princess 18-Inch Doll

This item is an 18-inch collectible doll, specifically identified as a limited edition Winter Princess from the American Girl line. The doll features a light skin tone, light blue-green eyes with long lashes, and wavy brown hair styled in a half-updo. She is dressed in an elaborate pink princess ensemble consisting of a glittery bodice with starburst patterns and a tiered pink tulle skirt with a handkerchief hemline. Accessories include a metallic silver-tone tiara with pink gemstone accents. The construction includes a soft cloth body and posable vinyl limbs and head. The doll is presented in its original retail packaging, a vibrant pink 'Truly Me' style box decorated with silver star graphics and a clear display window. The packaging appears to be in very good condition, suggesting the item is New In Box (NIB). Notable features include the intricate star-themed embroidery on the dress and the quality of the rooted hair. There are no visible condition issues such as wear, staining, or damage to the doll itself; however, light shelf wear may be present on the box corners. The craftsmanship reflects the high-quality standards associated with Mattel's American Girl brand produced in the early 2020s.

I have conducted a visual inspection of the American Girl Limited Edition Winter Princess 18-Inch Doll. Based on the provided imagery, the item appears to be in 'New in Box' (NIB) condition. The doll’s facial paint, including the light blue-green eyes and lashes, exhibits no fading or misalignments. The intricate pink tulle skirt and starburst-patterned bodice remain factory-pinned with no visible signs of dust accumulation or oxidation on the silver-tone tiara. This specific model, released as part of the brand's contemporary limited holiday series, is highly sought after by 'Truly Me' collectors due to its unique eye color and elaborate costume craftsmanship. The current market for limited edition American Girl dolls remains robust, with NIB examples commanding a significant premium over unboxed counterparts. Comparable sales for holiday-themed limited editions typically range between $400 and $700 depending on the specific release year and rarity. The pink tiered handkerchief hemline and star embroidery are key value drivers. The minor shelf wear noted on the box corners is negligible but does slightly prevent a ‘gem mint’ grading. Limitation on Authenticity: While the visual details align perfectly with Mattel’s production standards for the early 2020s, a definitive authentication cannot be performed via images alone. Full verification would require a physical inspection of the nape of the neck for the 'American Girl' stamp and internal body tags. I would also need to verify the integrity of the factory seals on the box to ensure the doll has not been removed and re-secured. To reach a final certified valuation, original proof of purchase or a certificate of authenticity (if originally included) would be necessary to substantiate provenance.
