The reverse side, visible here, displays the denomination '10' in large block numerals, flanked by pre-Columbian geometric motifs inspired by the ruins of Chan Chan. Below the denomination is the word 'CÉNTIMOS' and a classic Greek key or 'meander' pattern. At the very bottom is the mint mark 'LMA' for the Lima Mint. The coin shows signs of circulation, including light surface scratches, micro-pitting, and a softened patina, though the relief remains legible. The edges exhibit minor wear consistent with its age and use as fractional currency. The craftsmanship reflects the modern industrial minting standards of Peru during the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
