Without a signature or provenance linking this to a known artist, it must be evaluated purely as a decorative object of the period ('School of' or 'Style of'). Works of this nature—competent but anonymous—rely heavily on aesthetic appeal and interior design trends. Currently, there is a resurgence of interest in raw, outsider-style art, which bolsters its appeal.
