This is a vintage Art Deco style wooden cabinet, likely a vanity base or bedside commode, featuring the characteristic 'waterfall' rounded edges of the 1930s-1940s era. The piece is constructed from wood and has been refinished with an off-white or cream paint. It features a tiered design with two wide upper drawers and a lower double-door storage compartment. The drawer pulls are horizontal bar handles with chrome-styled ribbed end-caps, consistent with Streamline Moderne design. The lower doors are fitted with contrasting dark metal scrolled escutcheon plates and white porcelain knobs, which may be later additions or replacements. The top surface is covered with a black glass or laminate protective slip. The base is supported by short, curved block feet that echo the rounded geometry of the body. Condition-wise, the cabinet shows visible wear with several paint chips and abrasions along the lower edges, base, and around the drawer fronts. The white finish appears to be an older repainting rather than the original wood veneer finish typical of this period.
