This is a framed, early 20th-century Polish Roman Catholic First Holy Communion commemorative document (Pamiątka Pierwszej Komunii Świętej). The piece features a central lithographic print depicting a young boy and girl kneeling at an altar while receiving the Eucharist from Jesus Christ, who is draped in a red robe. The scene is set within a Gothic cathedral interior, populated by numerous angels and flanked by intricate floral arrangements and tall candles. Below the main image, the document contains three gold-toned religious medallions and handwritten fields detailing the recipient's name, the presiding priest, the church location, and the date, which appears to be localized to the year 1922 based on the visible script. The artwork is housed under glass within an ornate, dark brown-toned wooden frame featuring a repeated scrolling floral or acanthus leaf motif, typical of the late 19th to early 20th-century decorative styles.
