Vintage Akro Agate Coral Satin Glass Table Lamp Base

This is a vintage small-scale table lamp base featuring a pressed satin glass body in a vibrant coral or deep salmon color, characteristic of Akro Agate production from the mid-20th century (circa 1930s-1950s). The glass body is bulbous with a series of concentric rings at the shoulder and a scalloped or ruffled pedestal foot. The central portion of the glass features a detailed Chinoiserie-style relief depicting a figure with a parasol and a pagoda nestled among trees. The hardware consists of an aged brass-tone riser pipe topped with a standard aluminum or nickel-plated light socket. The socket appears to be a 'fat boy' style or standard vintage shell. The electrical component includes a tan, two-strand lamp cord and a vintage black plastic two-prong plug. In terms of condition, the glass body appears well-preserved with no major cracks visible, though some minor surface staining or production marks are present near the base. The metal hardware shows significant oxidation and darkening (patina) consistent with age. Given the age of the wiring and the oxidation on the plug prongs, the electrical components should be professionally tested for safety. The lamp lacks its original shade and harp, which would have been attached to the socket assembly.
