Upcycled Provincial Style Side Table

This is a vintage Provincial-style wooden side table that has been refurbished with a modern aesthetic. The table features a scalloped, serpentine-shaped top and a single drawer with a curved front. It is supported by four distinctive cabriole-style legs that curve inward and terminate in scrolled feet, all resting on a shaped plinth base that mimics the outline of the tabletop. The construction appears to be solid wood or a high-quality wood composite. The most notable feature is the 'shabby chic' finish, consisting of a cool grey wood-grain wash paired with off-white or cream painted trim along the edges of the top, drawer, and base. The finish has been intentionally distressed to show character. Condition-wise, the table shows signs of light wear consistent with upcycled furniture, including minor scuffs on the base. A small pink price sticker ($8) is visible on the drawer front. While no maker's mark is visible externally, the design is reminiscent of mid-20th-century French Provincial reproduction furniture, likely from the 1960s or 1970s, which has been newly painted to fit contemporary farmhouse or French country interior styles.
