This is a vintage Dolls of the World series 'Royal Barbie' representing England, manufactured by Mattel circa 1979-1980 (Model No. 1601). The doll features the iconic 'SuperStar' face mold with blue eyes and honey-blonde hair styled in a sophisticated updo adorned with a gold-tone tiara. She is dressed in a formal white gown featuring a multi-tiered ruffled tulle skirt over a satin bodice. A significant distinguishing feature is the red sash worn across her shoulder, decorated with gold-toned medallion accents. She also wears a gold-tone necklace. The doll is housed in its original 'Never Removed From Box' (NRFB) packaging.
