This splat is particularly notable for its fiddle-back or urn-inspired silhouette, featuring what appears to be a bird's eye maple or burl wood veneer inlay, framed by darker banding. The seat is circular and generously upholstered in a light grey or sage silk-like fabric with small embroidered gold floral or bee-like motifs, finished with a decorative corded gimp or piping around the edge. The wooden frame shows significant signs of age and wear, including numerous scuffs, scratches, and a cloudy appearance to the finish, particularly on the top rail and central splat.
