1969 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set

This is a complete 1969 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set, commonly referred to as a 'Mint Set.' The collection consists of ten coins in total, divided into two distinct cellophane protective sleeves. The sleeve with the red border contains five coins struck at the Denver Mint (indicated by the 'D' mint mark), while the sleeve with the blue border contains five coins struck at the Philadelphia Mint (which did not use a mint mark in 1969) and the San Francisco Mint (for the penny). The set includes two Lincoln cents, two Jefferson nickels, two Roosevelt dimes, two Washington quarters, and two Kennedy half dollars. Notably, the 1969 Kennedy half dollars are composed of 40% silver, unlike the lower denominations. The coins appear to be in original uncirculated condition, exhibiting high-luster 'mint state' surfaces. The cellophane packaging exhibits typical light age-related wrinkling but remains sealed, which is critical for preserving the coins' numismatic value.
