This is a pair of vintage costume clip-on earrings featuring a cluster or 'fringe' design. Each earring is composed of multiple faceted glass crystal beads, specifically treated with an Aurora Borealis (AB) coating. This iridescent finish gives the clear glass a shimmering, rainbow-like appearance that reflects hues of pink, blue, and yellow depending on the light. The beads are rondelle and bicone shapes, suspended from individual metal eye-pins attached to a central silver-tone base. The metal components show signs of oxidation and patina consistent with age, particularly on the jump rings and the paddle-back clip mechanisms.
