A small rectangular door sits above the main dial, where a plastic cuckoo bird mechanism would emerge. The circular dial face is a contrasting off-white or cream-colored plastic with raised, circular numerals in a stylized mid-century font. The center of the dial bears the 'Mayak' brand logo and the 'Made in USSR' (Сделано в СССР) inscription. The Clock hands are made of stamped metal with a decorative filigree pattern.
