Vintage Weiss Enamel Daisy Brooch

This is a classic mid-century vintage brooch by Weiss, designed in the form of a stylized daisy. The piece is constructed from gold-tone base metal and features two layers of overlapping petals to give it a three-dimensional, tiered effect. Each of the twenty petals is finished with a smooth white cold enamel (epoxy or paint) coating, framed by a thin gold-tone border, and features a decorative notched or scalloped tip. The center of the flower consists of a large, high-domed yellow cabochon, likely made of poured resin or thermoset plastic, representing the flower's disc floret.
