This item is a 19th-century monochromatic photogravure or lithographic print titled 'Un Mariage Espagnol' (The Spanish Wedding), based on the famous painting by Mariano Fortuny (1838–1874). The scene depicts a group of figures in elaborate 18th-century Rococo-style costumes gathering in a grand, ornate Spanish church sacristy to sign a marriage contract. The print captures significant architectural and decorative detail, including a large wrought-iron grille, baroque wood carvings, and period furniture. Printed on heavy paper, the work features a wide margin with the title 'UN MARIAGE ESPAGNOL' printed in capital letters along the bottom left.
