T&V Limoges Hand-Painted Footed Dresser Jars

This is a fine pair of Tressemanes & Vogt (T&V) Limoges porcelain dresser jars, consisting of a hair receiver and a lidded powder jar. Both pieces feature a squat, bulbous body supported by three ornate gilt-finished scroll feet. The lower halves are finished in a soft, matte mint green glaze, while the upper lids are elaborately hand-painted with a romantic floral motif of large pink and white roses nestled among pale blue and green foliage. The hair receiver on the left features a central circular aperture finished with a gold rim, while the trinket jar on the right includes a matching domed lid topped with a tiered, gold-leafed finial. The porcelain exhibits the translucent quality characteristic of high-end French white ware from the late 19th to early 20th century (c. 1892-1917). The hand-painting shows skilled artistry with soft blending and delicate highlights, typical of professional studio work. Condition appears excellent with no visible chips, cracks, or heavy crazing; however, there is minor rubbing and shelf wear present on the gold gilding of the feet and the finial, consistent with age. This set exemplifies the Art Nouveau influence on Belle Époque vanity items.
