This is a one-riyal banknote issued by the Qatar Central Bank, specifically from the fourth series (dated roughly 2003-2007). The note features a predominantly blue and grey color palette with intricate geometric patterns and traditional motifs characteristic of Islamic art and currency design. The reverse side, as shown in the image, prominently displays local fauna: the Crested Lark (Galerida cristata), the Bee-eater (Merops apiaster), and the Grey Redshank (Tringa erythropus).
