President Ronald Reagan Official Seal Cufflinks

A pair of gold-toned presidential cufflinks featuring the Seal of the President of the United States. The obverse of the cufflinks displays a circular central medallion with a black enamel background and a detailed polychrome rendering of the Presidential Seal, including the eagle with outstretched wings and the encircling inscription 'SEAL OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.' The surrounding border is a polished gold-finish rim. Each cufflink is constructed with a standard swivel T-bar toggle mechanism. The reverse side of each piece is highly polished and features an engraved facsimile signature of Ronald Reagan. Based on the signature and seal design, these date to the Reagan administration (1981-1989). Such items were typically produced for the White House to be given as diplomatic gifts or to high-ranking visitors and staff. The construction appears to be high-quality gold plating over a base metal.
