This is a set of two (from an original set of four) Luminarc champagne flutes from the 'Novoctime' collection, produced by Arc International. The glasses feature a distinctive two-tone construction with a clear, machine-pressed glass bowl and a solid black glass stem and base. The bowl is characterized by a panel-cut or faceted octagonal design that tapers down to a decorative faceted knop. The stem is slender and elegant, flaring out into a circular black foot. Each flute has a capacity of approximately 5 3/4 ounces. This specific style was popular during the late 20th century, typically dating to the 1980s or 1990s, reflecting the era's minimalist and geometric aesthetic. The items are presented in their original grey and white cardboard retail packaging, which shows significant wear including creasing, edge fraying, and a circular tear on the front panel where a price tag or seal may have been removed. The glassware itself appears to be in good vintage condition with high clarity and no visible chips or cracks. The manufacturing mark for Luminarc, featuring their 'Arc' logo, is clearly visible on the side of the box.
