This assembly consists of a decorative three-slot pipe rack featuring an equestrian theme and two estate smoking pipes. The rack is likely constructed from 'Syroco' wood or a similar molded wood-pulp composite material popular in the mid-20th century, finished in a dark walnut-toned faux-grain. The design prominently displays a horseshoe at the top center, flanked by what appear to be carved scrolls or stable motifs, with horse head profiles likely adorning the side panels. The base contains three distinct concave resting spots for pipe bowls. The pipes themselves appear to be classic briar wood models with vulcanite or acrylic stems. One pipe shows a white circular logo on the stem, possibly indicative of a Dr. Grabow or similar mass-market brand. Physically, the set shows significant signs of age and use; there is a thick layer of dust and surface grime across the rack and the pipe surfaces. The pipe bowls show carbon buildup (cake) from previous use, and there is visible oxidizing on the stems, turning the black material toward a brownish-grey hue.
