This lot features a pair of contemporary art glass paperweights, both crafted in an ovoid or egg-like shape, made from clear, colorless glass with internal decorative elements. The paperweight on the left showcases a dynamic internal design composed of deep cobalt blue glass, interspersed with variegated white and yellow specks, creating a textured, almost stalagmite-like or coral-reef appearance from the base upwards into the clear glass. This intricate work suggests a 'lampwork' or 'murrine' technique, where pre-made glass components are integrated during the blowing process. The paperweight on the right features a more refined and flowing internal design.
