This item is an exceptionally well-polished mineral specimen, primarily composed of chrysoprase, an apple-green variety of chalcedony. The stone exhibits an elongated, somewhat teardrop or tapered rectangular form, measuring approximately 1.5 to 2 inches in length, and is held comfortably in the palm of an adult hand, suggesting a size suitable for a pendant or a small display piece. The upper two-thirds of the specimen display a beautiful, translucent to semi-translucent vibrant apple-green hue, characteristic of high-quality chrysoprase, with a remarkably smooth and reflective polished surface that indicates expert lapidary work.
