Pair of Framed Wedgwood Style Jasperware Plaques

This is a pair of framed decorative wall plaques featuring neoclassical-style bas-relief figures, strongly reminiscent of Wedgwood Jasperware. Each plaque is housed within a rectangular, possibly metallic or metallic-finished, frame with a fine, beaded or textured outer edge and a smooth inner bevel. The frames appear to be silver-toned, showing minor signs of wear or patina consistent with age. Each frame is equipped with a small, brass-toned hanger at the top. Inside each frame, the central element is an octagonal white border enclosing a white bas-relief scene, set against a light blue, textured background. In the left plaque, two female figures are depicted. One figure holds an umbrella or parasol, while the other holds a bouquet of flowers, suggesting a leisurely outdoor scene. Their attire appears to be period-specific, likely 18th or early 19th century. In the right plaque, two female figures are shown in an intimate pose, leaning towards each other as if sharing a secret or whispering. Both figures in each plaque exhibit flowing drapery and classical hairstyles. The white figures have a matte, unglazed appearance.
