This pair of vintage porcelain figurines depicts two ethereal angels, a quintessential example of the Spanish Lladro 'Pastoral' or 'Angel' series. The standing figure (right) is known as 'Angel with Candle' (model #4505), designed by Fulgencio García and issued in 1969. She stands approximately 8 inches tall, holding a small candlestick with a delicate tallow-like wick. The kneeling figure (left) is 'Curious Angel' (model #4879), issued in 1974, characterized by an inquisitive tilted head and leaning posture. Both figures are crafted from fine hard-paste porcelain with the signature Lladro high-gloss glaze finish. They feature the brand's iconic muted pastel palette, consisting primarily of 'Lladro Blue' detailing around the collars, soft grey-brown hair, and white-to-cream robes. The facial features are delicately hand-painted with elongated, narrow eyes and soft countenances. In terms of condition, the pieces appear to be in good vintage state, maintaining their reflective luster without visible crazing or major chips.
