Vintage 1978 Kenner Star Wars TIE Fighter Toy Vehicle

This is a vintage 1978 Kenner TIE Fighter toy vehicle from the original Star Wars 'A New Hope' line. The item is constructed of molded plastic and features a blue-gray color scheme for the main fuselage and solar array wings. The solar panels are inset with black textured panels. It features the classic circular cockpit design with a lift-top hatch and the trigger mechanism on the back intended for pop-off wing action and sound effects. The wings are intact, showing the scale appropriate for the 3.75-inch action figure line. Physically, the item shows signs of significant age and play wear; the plastic has some discoloration and a light layer of dust. Notably, the clear plastic cockpit window is missing, and there are no visible decals or stickers remaining on the wings or body.
